The Netherlands is one of the wealthiest countries in Europe, yet nearly one million Dutch citizens live below the poverty line of €1,100 per month. The gap between rich and poor continues to grow. In The Other Side of Holland, we visit the poorest municipalities in six provinces and uncover the personal stories behind the doors of struggling neighborhoods. We follow seven households — all courageous people who fight every month to make the best of their circumstances.
